An ambitious team of Dutch engineering students from Delft University of Technology recently constructed a world record-setting 12-foot-wide NES controller. The controller, which is constructed primarily from steel, weighs in at a staggering 265 pounds. It took the students one month and roughly $6,000 to build. Perhaps the most impressive feature of the controller is that it actually works! This is one controller that you probably don’t want to throw at your television, though.
